Our Role:
Provide a quality after school program at each elementary and middle school (grades 1-8), which includes:
- Homework assistance
- Healthy snacks and nutrition education
- Personal enrichment
- Physical activity
Build partnerships with communities, businesses, etc. to support student growth.
Expand the school day's learning to assist students' growth in areas of citizenship, leadership and academics.

Program Outline:

- Program:
- The YMCA of the Desert provides the day-to-day ASES program at the PSUSD school sites
- Entry and attendance requirements are contained in the registration packet
- How to enroll
- Registration requirements and forms/packet are available at each elementary and middle school site
- Cost
- State funded grant
- Program is free for PSUSD enrolled students
- Suggested donation of $25/month per student to assist in program enhancement/enrichment
- Other
- Volunteers welcome from all disciplines and skill levels
